Ok, so this is hardly a secret.

This place is very popular, so popular that they have just moved to a larger space. This little place just a stone’s throw from the famous Russian Market serves up great mexican food to a loyal fan base on a daily basis, the place is nice to be in and the staff are friendly and efficient. This is a country where you can’t take good service for granted so it is refreshing. Breakfast runs throughout while lunch is served between eleven and two, the food is fresh, tasty and good portion sizes.

This visit I opted for the breakfast burrito, pork, chorizo, egg all wrapped up in a soft burrito and served with wonderful homemade salsa while my companion  went for the Pollo Empanizado; tender marinated boneless chicken coated in bread crumbs and Mexican herbs and spices. Served with tossed salad with pico de gallo, Mexican style rice and homemade Salsa, a snip at $5.50 for the chicken and $4:50 for the burrito. Good drip coffee and coconut juice with that come in at $1:50 each but they are bottomless!

The food was well prepared, came at the same time( does not always happen in Asia) and was very filling, the salsa is something of a favorite of mine, the drinks are good and the whole shebang comes in at $13 so while not cheap it is very reasonable and worth the money. Check out the facebook page here.

Give the guys a shot, they are good but expect it to be busy at lunchtime!
